G,day, well not much gold in the past 2 weeks, just the three nuggets and the larger one this week, its almost a gram and the three total 1.7grams maybe enough to pay for fuel but better than none. I came across tracks and a resting place for a camel as i can tell by their marks in the sand, im heading back that way next week and i hope hes a loner and doesnt have a harem as they get nasty if you get in between the male and his harem by accendent. Every time i go out detecting i have to take a pic of somthing and this time i climbed another rocky hill and found a rock garden that a landscaper would charge thousands for, not just the plants but the colour of the rocks, i have to keep my eyes open when climbing these rocks as the death adder around these parts you just wouldnt see until your on top of him and their deadly and scary looking snakes but i havnt seen any sign of snakes yet. I was realy stoaked when i came across a flock of about 50 odd bourke parrots and it was great to see them in the wild as ive had averies since i was 14 and the bourke parrot is my favourite bird ive had in them, they run along like road runners then when they take flight are very swift and direct, they are hard to get close to and taking a pic of them would be useless as they would be impossible to see amongst the rocks and scrub unless i buy a good camera. Im heading back out monday morning for another week and have some spots in mind that might bring a bit more gold, catchas later. Stu
