g,day all, im back at laverton a couple of days earlier as my generator stoped and the fridge uses up the batteries very quick, i pulled the cover off the valves and the inlet valve didnt move when i turned the motor over so it needs a mechanic so ive booked into the van park for a week. i met the brumby again and he followed me back to my camp as i was about a kilometre away from camp and in open country and thought it best to head back as it was getting dark as well, he stood about 30 metres away behind some bushes and just stared at me checking everything out then he came out in front of the bushes and walked past and across to some trees where he dissapeared, i had some carrots and apples but didnt think of giving him any but i will remember next time, ive named him trigger but i cant remember whose horse in the movies had that name.
I went for a hike up to the nearest hill and took some pics and the land just goes on forever in all directions and on the way up i ran into a goanna whose in one of the pics, theres been a few storms this week  and a fantastic rainbow which was so big i couldnt get it all in one photo.

red wine and toasted ham & cheese s/w for diner, no fridge = no cold beer,
I found only 7 nuggets this week but it rained alot and i think ive cleaned up this patch of gold, i ended up with 102 nuggets weighing in at 65.05 grams or 2 ounces 2.85 grams which im happy about, next weekend its time to go prospecting for another patch or maybe just one big nugget as somtimes that is how it is, hope ya like the pics, Stu.

    1. about time monica, gold is about $1,600 an ounce and the more the australian dollar drops compared to the $US the better, i hope to did up a monstar nugget soon but i will call it the welcome stu nugget, ill take some pics of the town tomorrow [sat] but its a real dump and the only green part is the roundabout at the top of the town as its got fake grass, ha ha

    2. haha fake grass that is funny. ok i just want to see how much of a dump it is. be careful not to get any indigenous people in your photo as i think some of them believe it takes away your soul or something when you get a photo taken.

  2. ha ha monica, if you want me to take some pics of this town its going to be hard not to get any indigenous people in it as they sit around town everywhere. i dont think they beleive that anymore about losing their soul.
