Hey Stu, those sunbakers make for easy digging. I checked the internet for the lizard and it could be a Ring Tailed Dragon or a Crested Dragon, not sure which. Looks like you are getting a few nuggets, well done. You could have scared the other bloke away with the .22 as well... Russ
g,day Russ, since i got the detector ive been reading about sunbakers how they are just sitting on the surface and was hoping i would find one but finding 3 was great,i dont think he would have heard the gun shots as ive only got the low velocity bullets, the brumby never heard the gun go off either only the bullet hitting the branches.
hey stu, its kellie, sounds like your having a good time good to see your getting lots of nuggets even if they are small, hopefully you dont have to wait too long to find the big one. that amazes me about the brumby didnt think they would do that. i can see the nugget nearly in the middle surrounded by little black stones if im correct. bali was fantastic dont know why i hadnt been sooner fell in love with it and didnt want to come home, im already planning going back same time next year, gonna make it a yearly thing till my long service comes up in few years and i plan to spend it there, well i been reading your blog from mums as no internet at home but i will set it up on my work computer so i can read it more often, anyways take care xo
yep you found it, i think im the only one thats never been to bali but i dont like the song anyway ha ha, id like to go but would rather spend time in their jungles than tourist spots,what was your accomadation like, catcha later,Stu
